What ply (or deckness thickness) is right for me?
Choosing deck thickness is mainly done by working out how you plan to use your board. Are you just to cruise up and down or looking to start jumping?
Generally speaking the thicker the deck ply the more absorbant landing you'll get. However don't go for a too thick a ply which will excessively increase the overall board weight.

Do i have to adjust my trucks ?
Not unless you want to. Kitedecks leave us with their trucks set with no toe-side or heel-side bias. If your deck feels fine, stick with it.

How do i set up my Revo trucks ?
The Revo truck has a multitude of potential different settings. When you're ready check out our manual below on how to set up your trucks:

What's different about Revo trucks ?
Revos are encased in an anodised block containing two elastomers and unlike other spring or skate trucks are not exposed to the same wear and tear and breakages.
One of the great things about the Revo is its set-it-and-forget-it consistency. You don't need to break it in or soften it up in anyway.

Can i get different elastomers ?
Yes. We make a range of elastomers (in soft, medium and hard) which changes the Reflex and NXS board carving abilities. If you have any questions which would right for you, please get in touch.

What is the difference between a 15° and 35° board ?
The advantages of a 35 degree board are that the deck sits physically lower between the axles which gives you a lower centre of gravity. This makes for a very stable board especially suited to the beach. However the low centre of gravity means that the board sits in a neutral position and this may make the board unsuitable for many riders that have been used to riding on grass. It is more of a beach board than a grass board.

How should i maintain my board ?
Our boards and trucks are pretty indestrucable and require only minimal cleaning. If you are visiting the beach it would be advisable to grease the outside of your bearings so as to minimise any sand or salt getting inside. Regulary check the tightness of any screws securing the trucks and bindings to your board.

What kind of warranty do kitedecks have ?
Our all our boards and their components are guaranteed against manufacturing defects for one year (this does not cover third party wheels and bindings). Please note that damage caused by either (a) mis-use or (b) normal wear and tear of bearings, elastomers and decks are not covered.

Where can i try out a kitedeck ?
